Valencya Thompson holds a Specialist of Education and Master of Education degrees in School Psychology from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston.

As a Certified Orange Duffel Bag Coach, Valencya has inspired and guided young adults to help them achieve life, education and career success!

Gifted in utilizing her voice to impact others across mediums, she has served in many capacities, including, but not limited to book publisher, ghostwriter, preacher, keynote speaker, workshop presenter, author, playwright, magazine editor, journalist, songwriter, poet, motivator, and more! 

Valencya has received on air credits for writing Impossible Woman, a poem featured on Aspire television network for Women’s History Month for several seasons. She has also been featured in the popular InStyle magazine in a segment highlighting mothers of Black sons.
